It’s baffling how some players can act as if those humble and caring virtual musicians are “annoying” or somehow less valuable just because their in-game symphonies aren’t to everyone’s taste! If it weren’t for these digital bards, these guitar dudes ac 2 roaming the streets, serenading our virtual heroes, wouldn’t the game world feel a little less alive? Shouldn’t we be grateful for these characters who add flavor and atmosphere to our gameplay experience?
You should all be THANKFUL that within the world of Assassin’s Creed 2, there are individuals who appreciate your virtual actions and genuinely attempt to bring joy through song, rather than, say, alerting the guards to your presence! Yet, some gamers find them ANNOYING! Is the solution really to wish for their removal, to silence their lutes and virtual guitars? Is that the compassionate and humane way to treat these digital performers, these guitar dudes ac 2 who are just trying to enrich our gameplay?
Do any of you seriously think it’s an easy existence for these in-game musicians? Imagine standing in the same spot, day in and day out, strumming a virtual lute or guitar, hoping for a few virtual coins from passersby. And for what? Often, they face indifference, or worse, aggression from the very players they are trying to entertain. This is a ridiculously precarious “job” in a virtual world, one only the most persistent digital souls would undertake! How do we reward this persistence when all they ask for is a few Florins? By ignoring them, or worse, complaining about their presence! We push them to the fringes of our gameplay, failing to appreciate the very vibrancy they bring to the digital streets.
Do you actually believe these guitar dudes ac 2 are intentionally trying to disrupt your stealth missions? Do you think their in-game intentions are malicious? Absolutely not! They are simply part of the game world, designed to add to the ambiance. Like innocent children, they are there to offer a service, to add to the immersive experience. And how do some players respond? With virtual scorn and impatience, actions hardly befitting even the most hardened virtual criminal, let alone these harmless musicians trying to make a virtual living.
Everyone should reflect on this. These bards, these guitar dudes ac 2, have done nothing – NOTHING, I say! – to warrant such disdain except to exist and fulfill their programmed role within the game, a role that enhances the overall atmosphere. You, the player, and your immediate objectives are not the sole focus of the game world. It’s a rich tapestry of interactions, and these musicians are threads in that tapestry, adding color and life.
Seriously, how different is dismissing these virtual musicians from actions we condemn in the game’s narrative? Are we, as players, supposed to be better than the villains, appreciating the richness of the game world and the characters within it, rather than diminishing it? Yet, complaining about the bards feels like a step in the wrong direction. Let’s reconsider our perspective and maybe, just maybe, show a little virtual appreciation for the guitar dudes ac 2 and all the virtual musicians who make our game worlds more vibrant. Perhaps a bit of “Liberta!” for the bards is in order, a freedom from our virtual scorn and a recognition of their contribution to the game.
