For over a decade, Guitar Riot has been a cornerstone of the Cleveland music community. This premier local guitar shop, renowned as an exclusive independent regional dealer for top brands like Gibson, Fender, and Martin, has announced a significant move and is set to celebrate a grand reopening at its new, custom-designed location. Guitar enthusiasts are invited to join the celebration starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 1st, at 4517 Lorain Ave.

Guitar Riot has built its reputation not only on its impressive inventory of high-quality instruments but also on its comprehensive services. Beyond sales, they offer expert guitar repair services, bespoke custom work, and a carefully managed consignment program, making them a full-service destination for musicians. After ten years in the Artcraft Building, this relocation marks an exciting new chapter for Guitar Riot Cleveland.

The grand reopening event promises a vibrant atmosphere with live music performances throughout the day. Attendees will have access to exclusive discounts on a wide range of gear and opportunities to win coveted prizes in gear raffles, including prized Gibson and Fender guitars. This event is designed to welcome both long-time patrons and new customers to experience the enhanced Guitar Riot experience.

The new facility significantly expands Guitar Riot’s capabilities. It features dedicated on-site guitar repairs led by experienced luthier Jay Pawar, ensuring instruments are in expert hands. Amplifier repair services, provided by Joe Golden, further solidify Guitar Riot’s commitment to comprehensive instrument care.

“Our mission at Guitar Riot Cleveland has always been to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for musicians at every stage of their musical journey,” states owner Brent Ferguson. “We are thrilled to unveil our new space, boasting the largest inventory of its kind between Chicago and New York. We eagerly anticipate reconnecting with familiar faces and extending a warm welcome to new members of our growing musical family!”

Dave Ferrante, the property owner, highlights the significance of Guitar Riot to the area’s development: “Guitar Riot was the foundational tenant of our Highland’s Project. Their established reputation and extensive network were pivotal to this development. Following the uncertainties surrounding the Artcraft Building closure, our priority was to ensure Guitar Riot could seamlessly continue their operations. This new location is precisely tailored to their needs, featuring a completely renovated showroom, specialized acoustic and electric guitar showcase rooms, and three private demo rooms for customers to truly experience their instruments.”

Adding to the musical hub being created, Ferrante also announced that prominent local guitar instructor and hero, Michael Bay, has relocated his Guitar Conservatory to the same building. “We now proudly host an entire first-floor dedicated to every facet of guitar culture – sales, repair, custom builds, and education, all under one roof,” Ferrante enthusiastically explains. “And for those seeking a holistic approach, the location also houses Free Hearts Fitness and Wellness Center, offering wellness lessons.” This makes the new Guitar Riot location a true destination for musicians’ complete needs.

Guitar Riot Cleveland’s grand reopening is not just a store relocation; it’s an amplification of their commitment to the Cleveland music scene, offering an enhanced experience for every guitarist.
