This Guitar Poster was born from a deep love and fascination with guitars. My own guitar journey started at 17, a path filled with as many stumbles as successes. Like many, my early days were spent strumming along to the sounds of Dinosaur Jr, Son Volt, and Neil Young. Learning songs only to have them vanish from memory just as quickly was part of the process, and honestly, that was perfectly okay. The magic of the guitar, for me, lies in its ever-changing nature and the personal challenge it presents. The reward? Incredibly gratifying.

Recently, I decided to embrace formal lessons, fully surrendering to the learning curve (Huge thanks to Pete Krebs!). Guitar is undeniably challenging, but each small victory, each new chord or riff mastered, is immensely satisfying. My respect goes out to all dedicated guitar players. Not just the flashy Guitar Hero types, but those who strum with genuine feeling and conviction. And the fingerpicking masters? Absolutely mind-blowing! Their unassuming beauty is something else. I’m already looking forward to my next lesson with Pete!
