A significant turning point came with his encounter with Sitarist Roop Verma, which inspired him to spend several years in India in the 1980s. There, he immersed himself in Indian music, yoga, and meditation, broadening his musical horizons and enriching his teaching philosophy.

Upon returning to the United States, Daniel pursued his Bachelor of Arts in Guitar at Cornish College of The Arts in Seattle, WA. He further solidified his expertise by owning and teaching at Rosewood Guitar store and studios in Seattle, becoming a prominent figure in the local music scene. Since 2000, Daniel has been sharing his musical gifts and knowledge in the Raleigh area, now offering his invaluable guitar lessons at Harry’s Guitar Raleigh.

Daniel believes in a student-centered approach to music education. He sees music as a personal journey of discovery for each individual.
